Oh! How fortunes change! Here we have a track from the very highly rated ‘Tartan Amoebas’ who many folk thought would do great things with their blend of brass & trad. Alas that was not to be; too many mouths to feed. On their last album they discovered this young girl bagpiper who was quickly roped into the band. They then discovered she could also sing quite well so coaxed her into one vocal, giving the album "Giant" yet another colour.
And from these humble beginnings Julie Fowlis entered the world of folk & rock & roll & Gaelic son.
